I am responsible for researching, planning, coordinating photographers, interviewing, translating, and writing articles for this beautiful 4-color magazine, quarterly published and distributed throughout Japan. Targeted for fashion-conscious young Japanese women, this monthly magazine contains a variety of information on trends in fashion, beauty, shopping, health, and more. I was responsible for completing the "New York Snapshot" pages. The coordination work included selecting, negotiating for shooting, and interviewing fashionable young women in New York.
I also completed several articles introducing the latest hairstyles and fashions from New York by researching industry leaders, coordinating photo shoots, and interviews.

I have been contributing articles for every issue over the past three years by conducting research, interviewing industry experts, and translating and crafting the article to appeal to the Japanese audience.

This magazine provides diverse information related to aromatherapy, phytotherapy, and alternative medicine as well as the latest information on beauty and health. I wrote articles including one on volunteers using aromatherapy and massages in the U.S., and a report on an aromatherapy trade show, ExTracts, based on interviews and research.

Wrote a feature article based on interviewing a professional in NYC on behalf of DISCO International, Inc. The focus of the article was his job-hunting and business experience, aiming to provide job seekers with encouragement and intelligent advice. The magazine was distributed to all participants of the Boston Career Forum in 2003.

- Kozue Aesthetic Spa
A Japanese day spa located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, operating since 1994. I wrote the entire site content both in English and Japanese and updated the site on a regular basis. I also coordinated the web design, layout, and database by working closely with a Japanese web designer.
As the spa communications coordinator, I also registered with search engines in both countries, developed the 4-color spa brochure and spa menu, crafting and distributing their press releases and newsletters both online and offline, and placed spa appearances in the major media as a result of smooth media relations.

This company is an industry leader in construction, engineering, and architecture with numerous worldwide customers including some major Japanese companies. I wrote the content in Japanese based on the research and information that they provided. I also worked in coordinating its design and registering with Japanese search engines.
- Cue Travel
I wrote the entire web content in Japanese for this travel agency based in Manhattan, New York. The information regarding the firm as well as its services and employment is written in an attractive and inspiring expression targeting the Japanese audience. I was also involved in registering with search engines and coordinating the design.
- eEntry Corporation
This Japanese venture company, owned by Accenture Corporation and Softbank Holdings Corp., provides full support for foreign IT firms to expand into the Japanese marketplace. I wrote the web content both in English and Japanese utilizing thorough research in the field. I also coordinated its design working closely with a Japanese designer.
- SIND USA, Inc.
This is a site selling original pet products targeting the U.S. market. By closely working with the client and web graphics designer, I wrote the entire content in English and coordinated its design.

This is a database site owned by eEntry Corporation, helping foreign companies to successfully enter the Japanese marketplace. I wrote the content both in English and Japanese by closely working with the client.

It is a Japanese own company selling original skincare products. I wrote the entire web content and coordinated the site's design closely working with a Japanese designer. I also registered with Japanese search engines and sweepstake sites.

This Japanese cosmetic company sells best-seller skincare products worldwide. I wrote the content based on research and information provided by the client.
- Abyss New York, Inc.
It is a company offering web design and e-business consultation. I wrote the entire content both in English and Japanese. I also coordinated its design, registered with search engines, and effectively promoted the site.

As a Japanese futures commission merchant, Okato Shoji Corporation sells a wide range of commodity funds since its establishment in 1951.
I helped to create their 4-full-color corporate brochure in English with an elegant and sophisticated design. I also developed their business contract forms in English.

As the spa communications coordinator, I planned and coordinated resources to create a beautiful English brochure for this elegant Japanese day spa in Manhattan. My work involved planning, writing content, coordinating photographers/designers/printers, editing and proofreading the content, and promotion. This brochure greatly helped to enhance the sophistication of the spa's image and increase customers.
I also independently created the spa menus both in English and Japanese utilizing DTP software, in addition to periodically developing and distributing their press releases and newsletters.
* DIC International (USA), Inc. - Multilingual Promotional
CD-ROM
Their parent company, Dainippon Ink and Chemicals Incorporated (DIC), is one of Japan's most diversified chemical companies and a leader in the global markets for printing inks, organic pigments and thermosetting resins. DIC Group comprises about 300 subsidiaries and affiliates, including Sun Chemical Corp. and Reichhold, Inc. in more than 60 countries worldwide.
DIC asked me to create a CD-ROM introducing the company profile and core services in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. I wrote narration in Japanese and coordinated its translation, design, voice-over recording, and printing to complete their multilingual promotional CD-ROM.
* Mariko Kaneda Piano Recital - Flyer, Poster, and Reception Invitation
A young and talented Japanese musician held a classical piano recital at Carnegie hall in Manhattan. I helped to create the flyer, poster, and reception invitation and coordinated the reception following the recital.
