I am responsible for researching, planning, coordinating photographers, interviewing, translating, and writing articles for this beautiful 4-color magazine, quarterly published and distributed throughout Japan. This magazine covers everything about flowers including trends in flower industry, floral designs, and florists worldwide. I am in charge of writing the feature articles covering mainly the New York area, in a creative, poetic, and professional style.

Soup Magazine
Targeted for fashion-conscious young Japanese women, this monthly magazine contains a variety of information on trends in fashion, beauty, shopping, health, and more. I was responsible for completing the "New York Snapshot" pages. The coordination work included selecting, negotiating for shooting, and interviewing fashionable young women in New York.
I also completed several articles introducing the latest hairstyles and fashions from New York by researching industry leaders, coordinating photo shoots, and interviews.

Body Plus Magazine is a monthly fitness and wellness magazine providing various useful information about beauty and health. Its concept is to enhance beauty through fitness and a healthy lifestyle. I coordinate feature articles of “New York Fitness and Wellness.” My work includes arranging professionals (photographer, model, makeup artist, etc), setting up photo shoots (in Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge Park , etc.), negotiating and implementing photo shoots and interviews with premium fitness clubs (Equinox, David Barton Gym, Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, etc.) and organic shops.
Soup Cruise Magazine
This is a sister magazine of SOUP magazine, published bi-monthly targeting fashionable and stylish women in their 30s. The magazine covers the latest fashion in Japan and around the world. I coordinate photography & interviews with popular designers and write about the latest fashion news from New York .
Creabeaux Magazine
This trade magazine contains the latest news and professional scientific information in the fields of beauty and esthetics, published quarterly and sold in Japan. A wide range of topics are covered such as skincare, cosmetics, make-up, and hair & nail care. I have been contributing articles for every issue over the past three years by conducting research, interviewing industry experts, and translating and crafting the article to appeal to the Japanese audience.

Request QJ is a long-running popular monthly magazine for hair stylists and beauty experts in Japan.
For the feature article covering the latest information from the U.S. and Europe, I wrote articles covering the latest news on beauty, cosmetics, skincare, and spas, including organic skincare lines, charity cosmetics, the latest spa trends, etc. I also wrote the report on HBA expo and introduced the hottest new products from the expo.

It is the home and lifestyle magazine for people who live in metropolitan cities such as Tokyo, published by Recruit, Inc., a well known major company in Japan. In their feature article focusing on wellness and health, I wrote on the latest trend in wellness and health in New York City including unique fitness programs, holistic nutrition program, etc.

The magazine is full of useful advice and information for parents with young babies. The magazine covers baby care, clothes, toys, accessories, strollers, education, nursery decorations, and more. I was responsible for completing articles on NY feature pages, which include the latest baby news in NYC and urban lifestyle of NYC moms.
MOBA-HARA
I wrote about the trendy spots in NYC including restaurants, art galleries, cafes, and shops for this mobile site, which delivers the latest information directly to the cell phones of subscribers.
I also wrote stories about young professional Japanese people who live in NYC to introduce their lifestyle, expertise, and stories of living in NYC.

The magazine proposes a revolution from “sightseeing traveling” to “quality traveling”. It contains different travel styles with quality. I wrote articles about NYC based on four-star hotels in NYC based on personal interviews. I also wrote about spas, Broadway shows, restaurants, and culture in NYC. I was also responsible for completing its Las Vegas issue including restaurants, shows, spas, and entertainment.

This magazine provides diverse information related to aromatherapy, phytotherapy, and alternative medicine as well as the latest information on beauty and health. I wrote articles including one on volunteers using aromatherapy and massages in the U.S., and a report on an aromatherapy trade show, ExTracts, based on interviews and research.

- Kozue Aesthetic Spa
A Japanese day spa located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, operating since 1994. I wrote the entire site content both in English and Japanese and updated the site on a regular basis. I also coordinated the web design, layout, and database by working closely with a Japanese web designer.
As the spa communications coordinator, I also registered with search engines in both countries, developed the 4-color spa brochure and spa menu, crafting and distributing their press releases and newsletters both online and offline, and placed spa appearances in the major media as a result of smooth media relations.

This company is an industry leader in construction, engineering, and architecture with numerous worldwide customers including some major Japanese companies. I wrote the entire web content in Japanese for this travel agency based in Manhattan, New York. The information regarding the firm as well as its services and employment is written in an attractive and inspiring expression targeting the Japanese audience. I was also involved in registering with search engines and coordinating the design.

This Japanese venture company, owned by Accenture Corporation and Softbank Holdings Corp., provides full support for foreign IT firms to expand into the Japanese marketplace. I wrote the web content both in English and Japanese utilizing thorough research in the field. I also coordinated its design working closely with a Japanese designer.
- SIND USA, Inc.
This is a site selling original pet products targeting the U.S. market. By closely working with the client and web graphics designer, I wrote the entire content in English and coordinated its design.

This is a database site owned by eEntry Corporation, helping foreign companies to successfully enter the Japanese marketplace. I wrote the content both in English and Japanese by closely working with the client.

It is a Japanese own company selling original skincare products. I wrote the entire web content and coordinated the site's design closely working with a Japanese designer. I also registered with Japanese search engines and sweepstake sites.

This Japanese cosmetic company sells best-seller skincare products worldwide. I wrote the content based on research and information provided by the client.

It is a company offering web design and e-business consultation. I wrote the entire content both in English and Japanese. I also coordinated its design, registered with search engines, and effectively promoted the site.

As a Japanese futures commission merchant, Okato Shoji Corporation sells a wide range of commodity funds since its establishment in 1951.
I helped to create their 4-full-color corporate brochure in English with an elegant and sophisticated design. I also developed their business contract forms in English.

As the spa communications coordinator, I planned and coordinated resources to create a beautiful English brochure for this elegant Japanese day spa in Manhattan. My work involved planning, writing content, coordinating photographers/designers/printers, editing and proofreading the content, and promotion. This brochure greatly helped to enhance the sophistication of the spa's image and increase customers.
I also independently created the spa menus both in English and Japanese utilizing DTP software, in addition to periodically developing and distributing their press releases and newsletters.

CD-ROM
Their parent company, Dainippon Ink and Chemicals Incorporated (DIC), is one of Japan's most diversified chemical companies and a leader in the global markets for printing inks, organic pigments and thermosetting resins. DIC Group comprises about 300 subsidiaries and affiliates, including Sun Chemical Corp. and Reichhold, Inc. in more than 60 countries worldwide.
DIC asked me to create a CD-ROM introducing the company profile and core services in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. I wrote narration in Japanese and coordinated its translation, design, voice-over recording, and printing to complete their multilingual promotional CD-ROM.

A young and talented Japanese musician held a classical piano recital at Carnegie hall in Manhattan. I helped to create the flyer, poster, and reception invitation and coordinated the reception following the recital.

- Tsuchida Sanae, Art Exhibit
Ms. Tsuchida, a Japanese artist who makes traditional Japanese dolls and dyes Kimono costumes, asked me to plan, coordinate, and oversee her first art exhibit in the U.S. I researched the art and gallery market for her to select a site.
I coordinated the entire exhibit with Ms. Tsuchida and exhibition staff. The work includes promotion and public relations.

- The Pyramid Lamp Collection by Shig Ikeda
Wrote a press release and press materials to announce the collection's appearance at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show held in March 2003 in New York City. Articles about Shig Ikeda's lamp collection were successfully published in The New York Times and The New York Sun Newspapers.
